Thank goodness the interstellar spaces are so empty or we wouldnt be able to see so far.
Any idea how many atoms one might 'bump into in a straight line one light year in length? Anyone worked that one out yet to determine how much drag one might face when travelling at warp speed?
Its a useful and important question for when we have to operate vehicles that could travel that far. Answer to be measured in the equivalent weight of coconuts, please!
