guys i just found the solution im leaving it here maybe it helps you. Switch internet connection use like a different wifi or mobile hotspot data whatever then launch discord. After it updates you can go back to your default network

I cleared all files and tried to do fresh install but it won't work. Keeps making that install "ding-dong" sound over over asking me to press yes. please help its driving me crazy
