Epiphany: Thousands of Orthodox Christians ignore COVID warnings

Orthodox Christian churches in Greece have held services to mark Epiphany, in defiance of government coronavirus restrictions that banned public gatherings including religious ceremonies.
Physically distanced congregations gathered in churches to mark the day despite the government's extension of lockdown curbs on Sunday.

The othodox church is where islam stole its ideas from. The quran has greek loan words in it. For example, Qanuun means law in arabic. That comes from the greek word kanon, also meaning law

Epiphany is celebrated 12 days after Christmas on 6th January (or January 19th for some Orthodox Churches who have Christmas on 7th January) and is the time when Christians remember the Wise Men (also sometimes called the Three Kings) who visited Jesus.  Epiphany is also when some Churches remember when Jesus was baptised by John the Baptist. Epiphany means 'revelation'.  The gifts of the Magi, gold, frankincense and myrrh, were carried a great distance specifically for the new King that their star-watching indicated.
