If you are in a motor vehicle accident and unresponsive/allegedly brain dead the psychopaths take your an inhumane procedure.". Organ transplant is big business and its motivational goal is financial gain, there is no compassion involved in the procedure because its business as usual. The sad part is, the family of the "murdered loved one" has to pay the burial expenses.

I'm a little confused about myth 1... how can organs be harvested from a corpse, don't they HAVE to harvest them while you are alive for them to be viable?

Organ donors are breathing and have hearts beating but are declared brain died. That fact needs to be presented so that organ donors have informed consent especially since anesthesia isn't provided as organs are removed. People have recovered from brain death diagnosis so doctors aren't perfect and the diagnosis isn't perfect. Also families aren't allowed to question the brain death diagnosis either. The medical team gives up as soon as you are declared brain dead.

If I
wanted to donate my body parts to people when I pass, my family members
should be able to receive the money they are charging for my organs but not
the transplant itself. Who gets the money for my organs? If people got paid
for donating their organs to help other people live a good life while the dead
organ donor's family lives in poverty, how fair is that? More people would
give and more people would live if the laws were changed.
I chose this particular source because it runs through my mind a lot. I am
not an organ donor but I definitely would be if I knew both of my daughters
could have the life they deserve. Why should I let strangers profit from my
organs? It makes no sense to me. My peers may argue this, I'm sure but if I
think this way, so do countless thousands of others. Lives could be spared if
laws were changed.

This is an other misleading ad for organ donation. Before you become a donor, please research the topic! No one in the know talks openly about the procedures. e.g. People declared 'brain dead' are far from dead. The body is kept on life support until harvested. Muscle relaxants are used as a rule (otherwise operating wouldn't be possible). To my knowledge only in Switzerland it is law to use general anesthesia. After the organ harvest - a donor is worth 500.000 to one million Euros- the now very dead body has clenched jaws and hands, children's hair often turned grey or white. I did a thorough research since my mother was transplanted. I felt I owe the world my organs. I changed my mind after I found out what it really means!

so you know what your signing up for not all your organs will be use to save lives' the can take any part of your body they see fit including your face, uterus, arms, lags, head, eyes, they will take your skin from your body for cosmetic reason such as plastic surgery they can make it were you reproduction organs go inside another person having your baby you never got to have please know this before making a choice to be a donor im not saying its a bad thing to do just know exactly what your signing up for to be a donor means giving use of your whole body not just to save lives . hope this helps with learning
