Yes, rewatching this again, Spencer toeing the line because he just can't help wanting to be around her, engaged with her, but still having to play this part with her. He toes that line until she has had enough and when she's about to walk out he cannot stand it.

Again, the body doesn't lie. He's trying to play it cool, give her a little attitude to throw her off his scent, but the moment she's done with that back and forth he's desperately trying to keep her in with him (because at this point, it's all he can get from her), his body panics at the loss and he jumps up, yelling her name. That "Trina, WAIT - TALK TO ME" was a knee-jerk reaction, he is literally pleading with her to just stay and talk, yell, whatever, just don't go - PLEASE don't break the connection. He doesn't even know what he wants her to wait for, he doesn't even know what he said to make her leave or how he can get her to stay all he knows is he is desperate to keep her there with him, engaged with him, for even just a few more seconds.

And he is SO TENSE with these pent up emotions that all he can do his have an outburst once she pulls away and breaks the connection he craves -- all he can do is smack the shit out of that box b/c he can't pin her down and pass on his desire for her physically. UGH.

Boy oh boy the chemsitry in this era of their relationship was so damn GOOD.
