Xbox One X Low Resolution Mode / Fix No Signal / Black Screen

Reset your display settings. Here's how:

If there's a disc in the Xbox One console, eject it.

On the console, press and hold the Xbox button for five seconds to turn off the console.

Press and hold the Xbox button and the Eject button until you hear a beep to turn on the console. You will hear one beep right away and a second beep 10 seconds later. The power light will flash on before the second beep. DO NOT LET GO until the second beep occurs.

Note This will boot your console in low resolution mode 640 × 480. To reset this setting, go to System Settings in the guide, select Display & sounds, Video options, and then TV Resolution.

My xbox one used to be in this case! So have i to touch open tray and power buttons at the same time and hold on them for 15 s still 1" beep" ?

Hold your middle button until the power off menu comes up, then press start to activate narrator mode so you can go to settings and change the screen back to what you had.

This worked when it's off hold both for a long time 15 or 18 seconds till it reboots had to try a few times did not erase anything just lowered resolution

Help please! I've been doing this since yesterday, followed all the steps but I never get the first beep noise, I always get the noise for when you eject a disc but nothing is in there and no matter how long I hold the buttons it doesn't boot it to low res mode.

For those that this didn’t work you’ll have to replace your ic retimer chip there’s many tutorials here on YouTube but you’ll need to know how to solder. The chip is $7 on eBay and will fix low resolution or no display.
