In this quick video, I will be sharing with you a simple trick to insert images in AutoCAD without missing links and without using any third-party programs. Getting the image into cad is not the problem for me. My issue is that it doesn’t show up in the layout view for printing.

I have the img in AutoCAD file, it still shows me a location of it, in the same cad file

No bad practice you will have low resolution image.
