Most universities today face a common challenge: they cannot gain access to all the right data and analyze it to gain deeper insights. UNT experiences this challenge as well. They strived to and overcame these data challenges when creating their data governance program and analytics strategy.

Bio: Jason Simon is Assistant Vice President for Data Analytics and Institutional Research at the University of North Texas. In this capacity, Simon leads an enterprise wide data warehouse and analytics program that brings together data sources across the entire campus. He also serves as an affiliate faculty member in the higher education department. Over his 20+ year career, he has led teams in advancement, student affairs, academic affairs, and finance and administration.
