PART ELEVEN: Pre-Ride Scooter Checks in Real-Time
In this video, Luke explains how to do a quick mechanical check of your motorcycle before your ride to ensure that your moto is ready to go!

Why should you perform a pre-drive check?
To prevent problems!

CHECK:
1 ~ Self ~ Do I have my phone & licence? Does someone else where I am going? Do I know where I am going? How's my mental & physical health? How's the weather? Do I have all my own safety gear - helmet, gloves, shoes, long pants & jacket?

2 ~ Tyres ~ I am checking the tread, the air pressure & any damage to the tyres and wheels and brakes and I also have a general look and look for any damage, oil leaks and is the number plate secure

3 ~ Hop on and kick up the kickstand

4 ~ Handle Bars ~ I grab the handlebars and check the throttle, turning arc, brakes, front suspension and mirrors.

5 ~ Electrics ~ Turn the key and check - warning lights, fuel, brakes, indicators, headlight & horn

6 ~ Start Up the engine - listen and smell... to confirm it smells and sounds normal

7 ~ Moveoff ~ at low speed I check the mirrors and brakes
