Another way of carrying forward figures from spreadsheets is to click into the cell with the figure you want to carry forward, then right click the mouse, press (left click) 'copy'....  Click onto the page you want the figure to appear on, right click the mouse again, press (left click)  'paste special' then click on 'paste link' on the bottom LHS of the box that appears.  I know your way is perfectly good, I was just so chuffed to discover this function.  Excel opened up for me.  Sad I know!!  Your videos are great, thank you.

Great series, thankyou. I put one of these together at Tafe training over 10 years ago, I one now though as Sole Trader. Great refresher, and very useful.

Extra; Was interesting to see the views drop off after each video, don't understand why people wouldn't want to see it through with just 4-6min videos each.

The closing balance(s) of the month you last completed. I usually copy the spread sheet file and paste. I then open the new copied spread sheet, change the dates, edit the opening balances, and then delete any entries. If you are doing this monthly then you will have 12 files - one for each month. Hope this makes sense.

I have seen the videos from part 1 to 6. The compilation is very useful. If sum of sales can also be taken by using a formula it will be great. I think this is the point where an entry error could occur.
