I feel like the Michael Bay Transformers series will become cult classics. Most people hate them now but they'll age like fine wine. He was really ahead of his time with these movies.

Sure, these films may not be AMAZING oscar worthy films, but god damn I love them. The action, spectacle, incredible CGI, cinematography, the joy and amount of fun you get from watching these films. When people say "blockbuster movies" or "popcorn films" I immediately think of these. Great video!

The series is definitely worth a re/watch if not for the story, then for the visuals and soundtrack at least. Man, I had no idea how gorgeous these movies looked and sounded until AS decided to make one helluva tribute for the series. That's pure talent. Cheers! Always be safe :D

Always enjoyed the epic cinematic feel of the visuals and music of these movies, even if the plot, characters and dialogue were often lacking.

No matter what critics or anyone says, I'll always love watching and rewatching these movies for what they are. Even when the story and characterization aren't best, the visuals, special effects, amazing CGI, action scenes, Peter Cullen as Optimus and Steve Jablonsky's soundtrack will always be the reason for me to return to these movies. In fact I've been doing the rewatch right now.

You can pause a Michael Bay movie pretty much anywhere and end up with a really cool-looking image.

That's what I love about his style, he's obsessed with making things look picturesque.

I still remember the summer of 2007 when everyone I knew was hyped for the first film. I was already a big TF fan but that film and the series cemented it even further. Still haven't seen 4 or 5, yet (only clips/this video) and I know about the hate they've gotten but truthfully I don't care because to me despite what hate they get or even if I don't like all of them, this series played an important part of my love for cinema and was a big inspiration for becoming a filmmaker.

They truly are more than meets the eye.

Say what you will about bay and the story but my god each frame has the capability of being a wallpaper and the score for each is telling us a deeper story beyond words or actions, my fav is ‘we have to go’ form the last knight, you feel like it is their last stand when you here it, steve jablonsky is an unsung hero
