I don't know if it would be worse if Wade didn't actually have a daughter or not. Not having a child, then getting a full blown memory set of a daughter, that you then had that whole life stolen from you is pretty heart wrenching. Having to kill a shapeshifter in her guise and then seeing her later would be mind fukky-wukky, too.
