The prosecutor of the International Criminal Court applied for arrest warrants on Monday (May 20) against Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Defence Minister Yoav Gallant and three senior Hamas leaders on suspicion of war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.
Netanyahu called the arrest bid "absurd", while Hamas said it "strongly condemns" what they called attempts to "equate the victim with the executioner".
