A $1000 or $1500 price point guide would be a nice alternative to see, and thanks for everything your team does.

I've always loved your content and was finally able to build my first gaming PC after waiting 4 years, based off your recent $650 build guide.

I look forward to the second video to learn more about the difference in motherboards.

I'm still a novice, so I just bought a 7 series motherboard just to not deal with bios stuff. I think having a budget is good. But mine is pretty fluid. I plan to ride my 13600k for probably 5 years, so spending an extra hundred on a mobo today isn't gonna mean much in the big picture.

It was a white Asus Prime motherboard for I think around 300 bucks. The funny thing is, it came with a wifi attenna with a magnet, and if you stick it on your case next to a fan, it'll kill the fan.

9:23 yes i am using 64GB DDR43200 ( i upgraded from 32 (2400) to 64 (3200)watching your video ) with 10900k, the experience is so great, "zero" C: drive ( SSD) activity , Adobe Pr Ae & Ps are butter smooth .

Thank you both Tech and Rogue! Since 2020 you taught me more about PC's than ever before. Before I was the typical "6cores is all you need" guy, because I didn't knew better. At first I was sceptical about your videos, however your arguments were valid and well presented. Looking forward to next parts. If you get to have the opportunity, would you make a similar video with i9 13900k or with r9 7900x/7950x? I want to make new PC in early 2023 and I'm wonderin' how much of a PC do I need. Supporting you was money well spend.
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays
(I know- IT DEPENDS! Use case, games, tasks, productivity, monitor, budget, etc. I will probably write you later when it gets more serious).

Back in 2017 i followed you in building my first pc and learned a lot with all the price difference from the U.S. Dollar to AU Dollar but i got a good first pc for around $1700.00 AU Dollar. So now i back to learn some more for my next build

I built a $2k system a couple of weeks ago, but I went with a 7900X + 6800XT + DDR5-6000-CL30. I'm very happy with the performance, but the one suggested in the video I'm sure it also a very nice rig. I went with 7900X because in 4X games it is faster than the 13600K.

I built a machine in this black Friday and fuma 2, the team ram and the 980 you mentioned. Happy that at least 3 parts are similar 🙂

Just upgraded my 9600k to the 13th gen. Kept my 32gig of ram and paired it with the 3070 I have for the moment. Plays dcs in 2k on a ultra wide monitor very smoothly.

What a present surprise, I watch your 8700k build when i was building my 2nd pc 5 years ago, and and just find this as I'm upgrading my 7700k to i5 13600k with z690 board 😄

Great video. I built my i712700k and 3080 12gb last year. When I upgrade I'm gonna use my existing motherboard and get one upgrade out of it. Might as well get I913900k and get a much as I can out of it. Would love to pair it with a 4090 when price comes down.

This is a great build. Many choices are what I've condensed down into the choices for my build.

I have that exact motherboard. It has a i9-13900k and I’m enjoying it! One thing I did to mine (cpu) was down clock and under-volt to see how far I can push the cpu to play at ULTRA DETAIL on Halo Infinite, and managed to get a stable under-volt and a good 85 fps average without any frame stutters.

Very good in-depth coverage of a 13600k build. I came back to this video after planning on building a new system around the AM5 7700 non-x CPU. Luckily, I waited as now the MB's and some X3D CPU's from AMD are exploding. Sad really. So, I'm now putting together a hopefully stable and trouble-free Intel system. Heck, my last Intel build has ran great for 6 years, so fingers crossed.

Very nice. I gave my bro my PC for Christmas with a new case and built this for me. Pretty much followed all your steps except sadly, I got a 850W PSU instead of 1000W. Thank you so much! Performance is excellent.
