I got a crab from a fisherman in a village in Telangana, India. He said 700 for a big one including cooking and with rice. He agreed for 600. He caught a live crab, cooked everything in front of us and was f****g delicious, gave him 1000 :p it was less for what he had prepared for 2 people, been there a dozen of times for just that before pandemic struck and after that he relocated somewhere 😭😭.. I miss him and his cooking.

as a Singaporean I wasn't surprised with the price because I myself don't eat crabs that often. I usually eat the ones that my mom or my grandmother cooked.

I think u should try pepper crab instead As a Singaporean I personally feel pepper crab gives that spicy kick and That Strong Flavour for and it’s loved by most Singaporeans here compare to chilli crab
