Woman Blocks Plane Passenger's TV By Placing Long Ponytail Over It

A photo shows a female plane passenger's long ponytail hanging over her seat and covering the TV of the man sitting behind her. A passenger tweeted, "Congrats to the ponytailed young woman in seat 22B. You've invented a whole new way to be awful at 35,000 feet." Other incidents of passenger shaming include bare feet on a tray table, someone clipping their nails on a flight. A former flight attendant started a page for people to share their photos. #InsideEdition

Humans have lost the ability to communicate through talking

How anti-social do you have to be to not ask someone to move their hair

Is this really worth putting on the news?
“Hey your hair is in the way”
“Oh I’m sorry”
“It’s fine. Thank you.”
“No problem.”

happened to me too on my trip in vietnam. even though that person didnt understand english, he knew what i was talking about and he put his foot away. situations like this can be so easily solved by asking politely and acting human

“Hi Miss, sorry, would you mind moving your ponytail it’s blocking my screen?”
“Oh my gosh, of course, sorry I didn’t realise I was blocking it.”
“It’s fine, no worries. Thanks.”

Problem solved.
A teenager handles an adult problem, like an adult, because apparently I’m more mature than the person that took this photo.

Dude, if you're too shy to talk, just flick her hair out of the screen.

"Hey"
"Hey"
"Can you please move your ponytail, it's blocking my screen"
"Oh, sure. Sorry about that"
"Alright, thank you."
Nah, better just take a picture and rage on the internet.

"Hey, could you move your hair?"
"Oh yeah, sure. Sorry about that."
"No problem. Now let me take a photo so I can publicly shame you on the internet."

I feel bad for guy who had his foot up in a cast. A lot of doctors tell their patients to do that to prevent further medical complications.

The fact that we find it far more easier to shame people online anonymously before we result to asking them politely to correct the behavior that effects us is beyond me. I will grant you that some people can be hostile no matter how nice you ask because their ego feels bruised but more often than not lately its because no one speaks to anyone like a person anymore so it'll feel offensive or shameful. I mean my mom said excuse me while walking past a woman in the mall a couple of years ago and the woman said no problem and when I looked back at her she rolled her eyes and mouthed over exaggerated to her friends like my mom was rude "excuse me" and then when she saw i saw she wandered off.

"Oh, I'm so sorry"

This doesn't need to be on TV

Did anyone ever think that maybe the girl with the pony tail didn't know that her hair was blocking the screen. All the person had to do was say, "excuse me, could you move your pony tail." A little kindness goes a long way...

Ask her to move it and if she refuses, ask the crew to tell her to. Simple as that.
