I thoroughly get why Kevin Costner would leave a highly successful and excellent series. He is talented and creative and I never missed an episode of Yellowstone. However, I thoroughly understand, as a visual artist myself, that I would not want to keep doing the same painting over and over no matter how good or well liked it was. I wish Mr. Costner all the best in his creative endeavors.

I put this all directly on Taylor. The guy managed to start (and not finish) several shows. Dude - just write 2 at a time. Instead, we all were sucked into several shows that he either never intended to finish or was so over his head, he couldn't. I won't watch another Taylor Sheridan project. Okay, a person knows when he's being treated like a doormat! Whoa.... Mr. Costner is a very intelligent person, and he knows himself very well to say the least. His X-Wife has tried to not only ruin his life/life style, but she should stop playing the martyr because I'm sure she has a boyfriend even before the ink was dry on the papers. Kevin had to film his movie project Horizon. The schedule for YS changed and then the strike hindered any and all filming. I don’t blame Mr Costner for focusing on his own project

As a TV viewer, what always pisses me off is when I devote a lot of time and get interest in a program. And, then one of the main characters on the show wants to leave, for whatever the reason. Kevin Costner’s name is the first name that appears in the credits. How can you remove the name and take away the character without destroying the show? Perhaps it would be better to just sign everyone up for a seven-year show. Ironclad, locked in contracts for all actors. And then after seven years, you end the program, unless they all agree to extend the program.
