I have gone through hell trying to find the best jeans for my short midsize body. I'm a size 8, 5'4" with short legs and a long torso and I finally found three perfect jeans for short curvy women. I'm sharing the best skinny, straight, and high waisted wide leg jeans that are super flattering if you have short legs and a long torso like me. Hopefully they help you find your perfect jeans fit. I came to this video after shopping for jeans at Old Navy today. No only did I come home empty handed but also feeling defeated. Nothing came even close to fitting me. All of the jeans in my size were ridiculously too long, and just didn’t fit right at all. The only jeans that looked the right length were children’s jeans, but they are overall too small for me. (Nothing against Old Navy, they have a lot of great stuff, they just don’t have jeans that fit me). So thanks for this video it helps me have an idea where to look, which will hopefully cut down on trial and error. It also helps me feel less alone in this daunting quest to find jeans that actually fit, feel good, and look good.

Very similar body to yours I'm 5'3 120 and I'm long in my torso compared to my legs. I love Levi jeans, I just got a pair of Levi that have the tattered front legs but have material sewed in underneath the tattered part and they are skinny jeans and they fit me perfectly 🥰

Have you ever tried Loft jeans? They have nice jeans. They have petite sizes too. You really might love them. I suggest trying them on in store though.

Thanks for doing this video! I'm looking to buy new jeans and have similar problems - I'm 5'2" and always used to get short cut jeans from the Limited. Good to know that Levi's is still making quality products. I'm thinking it might be worth finding a local store that carries them in regular length to make sure the waist/rise fits right, then to order online.

As some one that holds weight in my hips it is hard finding pants that flatter my hips without turning my waist into something boxy. I like this video because buying pants is the most frustrating thing. I am not sure why I didnt think of measuring from the belly button to the crotch to find the right size for me, I am going to try that the next time I go shopping. I have pants that are worn out inbetween the thighs because I cycle with my normal clothing... I have just sewn them around the crotch and keep wearing them because id rather a weird patch around the crotch than shopping for new pants. -_-" I have two pairs of jeans that I LOVE! they are from Anne Klein and I bought them at Ross. I love them because they curve around my body instead of just going straight up or down.

Hi Miranda! Great content, this is a very helpful video. The last pair of jeans fit well on you; going with your regular size was a good idea. 🙂

I want to share the telltale signs of when the fit is off. When jeans (or pants in general) pucker in the crotch/upper thigh area, that means it's a bit too tight - it doesn't have enough fabric to lay smoothly, so it's pulling from the fabric around it. Similarly, if there's too much fabric in that area, then it'll bunch. It'll be noticable when the person is standing straight.

Used to buy American eagle khakis but I finally bought a pair of levis 314. Great for my wider waist.

I cringe at the fact I used to wear skinny pants, did not suit my body type. Loose fit clothes is my style.

I also love Levi. They are the original "jeans". Biggest problem I've had in recent years...the same style, same size jean fits differently depending on where they're made. Quality control -No sizing standard. Wish they would start making a line manufactured in U.S.A. even if the cost more.
