The Future Car Enthusiasts will find a different reason to love cars. Most of us current enthusiasts will become what stubborn boomers are to us now. We'll talk about how good the "good ol days" were. Remember when people said Manuals were a rite of passage for every car guy? Look at how much that's fleeting and will continue to fleet. In that same vain, everything else we deem as "The structural basis of the Car Community" will also continue to fleet.

With how transient the barriers of entry are into a community, it really makes me wonder: Why the heck do we care so much what others do? And when it all comes to an end, we'll take our memories with us. The new generation will have their own set of equipment to make their own set of memories. I bet people in the past had thrilling horse races. They probably never imagined something like a Fire Breathing Dragon on the Road powered by Liquid Explosive Dinosaurs, would ever even be invented! (That's a giant metaphor for cars). Do you think those Horse Racing Enthusiasts felt like they missed out? Not at all! They didn't even know what was coming, so it never mattered to them. In that same vain. We've yet to fully know what comes after cars, but so as long as we still have them. Drive them. Drive them for as long as you can and cherish every single mile you take and every single kilometer you travel....

Electronic e-brake is honestly one of the worst things to come on modern cars. Like, it's not cheaper to maintain or produce than a cable e-brake.

Would love to see a scientific study that proves that touchscreen takes your eyes off the road longer than buttons and dials. Guarantee touch screens are a fail for driver attention when it really matters.

I really will miss the turning of a key, hearing all the electronics booting up before the engine comes to life in style, also the satisfying sound the hand brake makes when you pull it after parking, really made the experience of the car better.

The saddest thing about the electroninc parking brake is that, most people I know (people that don't care about their cars at all) prefer it because it's "convenience" of not forgetting to put it, as their car automatically applies the electronic parking brake when the car is set to Park, and that lead me to think that, if you forget to put your handbrake every time you park, probably you shouldn't be driving at all, but that just means that it's going to stay

The reason why most companies use Electronic Hand-Brakes is because they break earlier than normal ones, which then sends most people into the dealership to buy another car.

I just run my exhaust directly into the cabin to stop noise pollution. But I think it's a too loud, because I start getting lightheaded after driving for a few minutes.
