Those in the comments saying that their reason for not liking p3 was that “cast aren’t like friends” “too serious/uptight” while gameplay leaves a lot to be discussed. Those points relayed should be clear to those that made such points since p3 is the more darker shade compared to the other 2 games. SEES were just teenagers that apparently had personas randomly. Their relationship with each other is stricly just business initially. How can you compare it the other 2 casts. Personally gameplay wise in descending order no doubt it should be 5>4>3. However story and depth should go 3>4>5.

honestly i find a lot of the p5 cast annoying, especially after the main 4. i do personally like p3’s characters a lot, they feel a bit more real to me. but p5 still excels in all the gameplay and new stuff as a more modern game.

For me it’s 4 > 5 > 3 > 2 > 1. 3 is my least favourite of the modern titles but I disagree with your point of some of the main cast feeling too distant. There are actually plot reasons for why Mitsuru is so distant (I assume it’s her who you are talking about considering the use of background imagery)

P3 has probably the best story and the most emotional moments for a 2008 game, P4’s social links are terrible and the story isn’t that incredible, also the dungeons are really meh until the last 2-3. Also consider that P5 was out almost 10 years later than 3 so it’s natural that it feels better and polished. I’d say P5>P3>P4 with the first two really close to each other.

I remember spending almost an hour to beat a p4 boss this was on my first playthrough i knew nothing about this franchise and that was my introduction just soulessly staring at the kanji boss with bloodshot eyes spamming moves with the occasional panic of kanji almost one shotting me

P3 is the only one that got me insanely connected with the main cast even in portable to the point that the story telling near the end would give me so much depression I wouldn't be able to finish it. I played up till Junpei an Chidoris story 5 different times an I finally actually beat the game in Reload.

Persona 4 pisses me off with everyone besides Chie, Yukiko, Kanji, Adachi an Nanako who are very good characters. The game is just too horny and Yosuke is a problem especially around Kanji.

Persona 5 is great with its Theme and Music. The cast wasn't my fav besides Haru an Yosuke. Kinda forgettable. An Royals flop with Kasumi really ruined the whole thing IMO.

I’d swap 4 and 5 to 1st and 2nd respectively, the hud in 4 fits the theming so well, while in 5 it looks pretty and they got the hearts for HP and stuff like that, but 4 has things like the curvy lines to make the outline of a crttv and a slight static, which people might find annoying, but I find it nice. Can’t say anything on characters cause I’m still in 3.
