It is absolutely INSANE to think its taken us this long to make the connections come out 90 degrees for cable management purposes..

Simple idea but a really good one at that! Kind of shocking that no one has thought of this before

This is why Corsair is awesome -- can't believe it's taken THIS long to come up with this -- been saying it myself for YEARS.

As nice as this seems like it could be for building, it really does bank on the case giving enough clearance for the cables that plug directly into the PSU. In the cases where that’s no problem, though, I’d probably really appreciate this change.

it is so simple yet so brilliant. Makes you wonder why this took so long

Congrats on pioneering Corsair... Ever since I built my first computer and cared about wiring management, I never understood why PSU connectors were NOT on the side.

I have installed the RM1200X shift PSU in my PC over the weekend. Cable management and cable routing have never been easier. I highly recommend this PSU if your PC case supports it. The 16 pin cable for the RTX 4090 is also a flat cable and looks great.

How is this just now being a thing! Holy crap. Genius.

Had a problem with mine, didn't run when I started my PC. Only "clicked". After testing it was ok with the paper clip trick, I found out it didn't like one of my USB drives. A process of elimination showed me which one was the culprit, so I removed and then it worked fine. Why did my last 750W work with that USB inserted, but this just didn't like it? So if you get the same issue, use the paper clip test, test all cables are connected and check your connected drives and accessories.

Good idea, but if you don't have the big case from Corsair like the 7000D, it probably won't work out as well. Plus, this is only useful if you're going to have both hard-drive cages in your case.

Such a simple design change, but absolutely genius.

Hello.
How does the guarantee work for OpenBox products purchased through official sellers?

GJ Corsair! You finally did what pc builders spoke of decades ago. Brilliant "idea" 💜

I bought it purely by chance for my 7000D airflow, thought it was the weirdest thing ever, then it was pure genius by the time I was done.
