Lecture 5 FDM to Parabolic eqn Part 1/2 (Explicit scheme and Implicit scheme)
Показать описание
In the previous video lecture, we explored Gauss-Seidel method to solve the elliptic equation. In the present video, implementation of the finite difference method to parabolic equation is covered. This study is divided into two video lectures. The current lecture highlights two important schemes, namely, explicit and implicit schemes which are used to solve parabolic equations. A step-by-step solution strategy to solve the parabolic equation using explicit method is covered in Lecture 6.
