With how many people use Unity, I'm surprised these videos only have so few views so far. They're really good.

While watching this video I was expecting you to explain an example on a case using parenting, because I have a hard time finding an use for it. But I'm sure it's pretty useful. This is like when I first learn about loops in programming, where I didn't find them useful at the beginning but now I use them all the time.

Whenever I parent a child to an object the scaling of the child breaks completely, Can someone please help me?

Yes but HOW DO I PARENT AN OBJECT TO ANOTHER THROUGH SCRIPT!
I tried transform.parent = player.transform;
But it won't make it a child object of the player.

How do you select many items at a time so it will be easyer to for example if u have a hundred trees u wanna make childs of the tree parent
