Final version! This is my recount of the full Tour Divide 2024 route. Starting in Banff, Canada at the "Grand Depart" on June 14th, and finishing at the Mexico border in the "city" of Antelope Wells, New Mexico, on July 12th. The route comprises ~42 mountain passes throughout 2,751 miles with 181,270 feet of elevation gain. After 27 days, 11 hours, and 2 minutes, which involved blood, sweat, and more tears (as you'll see) than I expected, I was an emotional wreck rolling up to the Mexico border. I want to thank all the supporters along the way. It is amazing to see the locals cheering us along the route. I am not sure I could have completed this without the "Broom Crew" - thank you so much for all the love and support and moral support. The Tour Divide is a self-support ride that closely follows the Great Divide Mountian Bike Route (GDMBR) across the country (and some) following the Continental Divide (through the Rookies). We actually spent about 40 miles on the Continental Divide Trail (CDT). We passed through cities like Butte, MT, Steamboat, CO, Breckenridge, CO, and the legendary Pie Town, NM. To name a few. Thanks for watching!
