I am a teacher AND a gamer! I would use it for both!

Thanks to COVID and distance learning, the two worlds that I usually keep separate have somewhat collided as I have been using my home computer (the gaming rig) to teach because of the bigger monitor and more horsepower to run my class than what my work computer laptop can offer...

However with that, during my live Zoom class sessions my current razer keyboard is SO LOUD that I always feel terrible when I need to type something really quick and my mic isn't muted on Zoom...

Generally, I will be responding to someone in the Zoom chat and I only realize how distracting I was when testing my class recordings before uploading them for the day for students who were absent. Whenever I test my recordings prior to uploading I sometimes (embarrassingly) catch that I typed a message during the live session and my keyboard sounds like a total typewriter... I have even caught myself doing this even while a kiddo was sharing how their morning is going during morning meetings... 🤣🤣🤣

Never again with loud mechanical switches... I might be the biggest distraction to my own class! -Thanks for the consideration.

What a nice looking and well designed keyboard. I love the magnetic wrist support and the extra keys and the height adjustment. If I was lucky enough to be chosen, I'd replace my wireless keyboard that always skips letters and up my gaming skills and also have a lot less typos when I'm watching EVGA Weekly and interacting with everyone in chat. (Bad puns and all.) The first thing I'd do is post a huge thank you here and on the EVGA forums if I was lucky enough to be one of the chose winners. Mainly for Ctrl + EEE in DCS. It's not a commonly used key combo worth binding to HOTAS but... it's the most frequently used on keyboard...

I've never owned a mechanical keyboard before, I'm actually using an old logitech keyboard I bought at a thrift store 4 years ago that has quite a few of the letters worn off. I'd love to be brought into the 21st century with this beautiful EVGA Z15 keyboard!
