@DGeorge94UK DRM stands for digital rights management and for most pc games its either a CD-ROM Key or the company uses steam but with ubisoft games they decided you need a permanent internet connection to play...even offline.

So depressing what a great game it was.Would have been nice if there was a sequel or at least a new settlers game all together.I like to think settlers kingdoms of anteria never happened.

@WorthyFail if you use your laptop quite often I would recommend that you get your self a surf card ^^ got myself one to from maxxim 20€ a month and can surf anywhere anytime basically everywhere where you also get a mobile phone signal

Stop complaining-DRM is FIXED!
No need for internet anymore~they release offline patch!(yes, you need internet only for multiplayer)
All other issues has been fixed as well. (Details on ubi forums)

Dudes, i totaly agree with you! When i heard that the settler 7 is coming i thought that its going to be the best graphics ever, and then i saw this and I told myself WTF is this? freaking potato people!

Dude just play a different game whenever you have a non-ethernet internet connection. There's tons out there. It's worth playing even if you only get to play it when you're sitting in your room.

Blazerulesinkilling - you are just encouraging more DRM by pirating. It's like an arms race and both sides lose in the long run. Gamers suffer from lower quality games, companies suffer from a lack of reward for high investment games... Both sides are responsible for this vicious cycle but I think pirates are the source and main problem.
