i have this game, no you dont need an internet connection when playing single player and skirmishes, many different maps upto 1vs1 to 3 more on the same map... playing multiplayer requires online connection, as you can see the game is beautiful designed and textured, best settlers out of the lot in my opinion, you will never get bored as the game is so addictive, many things to build not just wood and stone, but also needing the requirements to make swords, tools and clothing, trade and churches that require science depending on the tech tree you choose, science, military or trade ^.^ each little settler has there own animations on there work yards, you can actually see how the sawmill worker cuts his wood lol :) fascinating...i can asure all the people to DO buy this game, you will not be disappointed, this game truly is outstanding, a work of art, beautiful scenery, textures, craftsmanship and many other things ^.^  oh the game does not require steam, it uses a built in uplay launcher simular to steam and its already on disc to set up during installation ^.^ have fun ^.^

Ok never heard of this game, just barely. Is this game really good, what game can it relate to most and etc. Don't want to buy another RTS game that's 100% pointless. Best ones are Total war, ST, and ANON.
