It's crazy how good Witcher 3 still looks 8 years on, it still holds up man and it's always a blast to go back to, man what a game :)

I just can't believe Rockstar hasn't given more to RDR2 and it's online... It's such an immersive world with so much potential. They put so much into building out this incredible foundation and then just went back to GTA V as a cash cow. I don't dislike GTA V, but it's a disservice to their previous efforts to not do more with RDR2.

Can we just all admit that Falcon's impersonation of Mario was pretty good.

I've played The Witcher 3 9 times....1311 hours in total....twice back to back because I played New Game plus and everytime I find something new...Geralt may say something I never heard before but most of the time I play it because I actually know what's coming next. Geralt's one liners are priceless lol

Telltales Walking Dead series really opened my eyes to playing more visual novel type games, but haven't really found one that did it as well as they did. The stories wern't so long or drawn out that you'd lose interest, and the game itself really found the sweet spot for the genre where there were enough movement/QTE sequences to keep you engaged with it, but not so many that it became the main focus.

For me personally, it can be a tough genre to get into. It either feels like a QTE game with bits of story thrown in, or it feels too much like a visual story without enough gameplay sequences. Walking dead found that perfect balance in the middle for me.

Clementine is one of my all-time favorite characters, I can't imagine the game without her.

Red dead 2 is one of the best graphic games I've ever played, literally don't think I've seen a game with graphics like them and it's nearly 5 years old imagine what GTA 6 is gonna look like

The story in dying light is great if you actually do the main missions together with the side quests because it gives the world a meaning and everything is extremely well connected.
There are so much details to this game, it's incredible. And it stills looks absolutely amazing to this day.

I always get stoked when you guys briefly brush up on TLOU’s multiplayer factions mode! It’s still the greatest and most underrated multiplayer experience imo.

The fact that R* abandoned Red Dead Online even after the game did so well.

I was in the 2nd grade with Mario 3 came out. It was such a huge release that my mom said I could stay home on release day and play it if I got 100% on every spelling test for 3 months before release. I studied sooo hard for every test and everything else that I ended up having the highest grade for all second graders that year. That was the high point for my academic career.

This is easily my favorite YouTube channel. You guys put out quality content on a weekly basis; it’s incredible!

I can see why Skyrim sold so well. I bought it for PS3 when it came out and then again for the PS4 and Switch. I loaded it up again this year to see if I was over it. It shows its age in 2023, but it's still incredibly fun!

I'm really shocked that Minecraft's 238million copies sold was not listed here.

Surprised Elden Ring isn't on this list. Sold more than 20 mil copies, and one of few on the list (like Dying Light) that just came out of nowhere and broke into the mainstream.

In fact, it was even more impressive, because it was already niche, and many already avoided Fromsoft games due to them being hard.

They completely shook up the gaming formula and it paid off big time, with it being 1 of 3 games to pass 300 GOTY awards.

If a random really good game comes out, it has a chance of great success. I do think this is harder to do when a lot of people already avoid a companies games due to the reputation they have.

I think the most impressive 20 mil+ sales is Elden Ring imo. The others make sense as they either use a popular genre, or, use a popular long-running franchise. Elden Ring was a brand new game with zero prequels, deffo deserves to be on this list.

I cried like crazy at the end of TWD. My fiance came home and thought someone had died... he did. Lee was a good man. He's one of my all time favourite videogame protagonists. Beautiful story, just... heart wrenching. I felt so horrible for Clem, losing everything over and over again.
