HKMU - Developing Instructors’ AI Literacy in an Increasingly AI-Driven World

In a recent seminar organised by HKMU’s Office for Advancement of Learning and Teaching (ALTO), Dr Sean McMinn, Director of Centre for Education Innovation at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, discusses the importance of preparing students for the future of work, particularly in light of the increasing use of AI. He also looks at the effect of ChatGPT, a generative AI tool, on the workforce and suggests that skills and jobs relating to programming or writing may see the most effect.
