I am just a random student on the internet who loves reading, especially about ancient history and classics. The purpose of my videos is to make classics and ancient history interesting and accessible to everyone. I am not a professional or qualified educator, “expert”, historian or classicist. However, I ensure that all the information I use in my video scripts has been collated from numerous credible sources. Additionally, I am dyslexic, and I will mispronounce words. This does not stem from willful ignorance, and I do make an effort to research how to pronounce words before I start filming, but I often misread my phonetic spelling. In light of this, please do not rely on my video for an authoritative or reliable source of how to pronounce certain words.

Stoked to see the rainbow serpent get a mention in this video. Indigenous Australian mythos is an untapped goldmine of cool stories.

You're reawakening a deep interest in Dragonology that had been dormant in me for over a decade.

I love this. Your voice is perfect for podcasting. This feels like a campfire story, except we're camping in the library after hours.

This is an incredible way to finish up my evening--tea and dragons, delivered in a way that is simultaneously compelling and relaxing.

As I'm playing Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom while listening to this, I can't help but notice some possible inspirations for certain aspects of the game from ancient Meso-American culture. Two that stand out the most to me is: the Zonai serpent motif being very similar to the serpent's head shown at 12:29, and the game has a sky area, a serface area, and a depths area very similar to what's described at 14:43. It's so cool to see references to mythology in popular media.

The discovery of dinosaur bones and teeth, to the ancient mind, would definitely bring about the idea of dragons. Once, I heard a tale of a Spanish knight doing battle with a monster with three horns (a Triceratops?). Many thanks, Lady of the Library

I loved your delivery in this! It had a great storybook quality to it. That, along with the great music choices really helped giving a mysterious ambience to the whole production.
