Safe Sleeping Site in Golden Hill still isn't ready

The site was said to have opened on June 29 but there are still no showers, working bathrooms, and only a handful of people are staying there.

Homelessness will never go away. These companies who get funding to help are only doing the bare minimum. They need homeless people to keep getting their funds. It's ridiculous

Its Great that all those thousands of churches in San Diego all opened their parking lots, lawns and bathrooms for those in need . All those church folks opened their homes for the people with no roof over their head .

How is 136 tents going to help the over 1, 000 people on the streets? Yet in 3 weeks the city wants to make it illegal to sleep on the streets. The city has horrible leadership when it comes to this issue. The city needs to be sued if they allow this to occur. Find land for these people to sleep on before you make laws against encampments. People have the right to sleep somewhere.

I know a few homeless people. They always have the gimme gimme mentality. Gimme money or can you buy me some food. Had to cut that off.

Tents, A safe place to stay and bathrooms should be available.. However this is not a hotel where we need to provide showers and all the amenities.. Everybody needs to take some responsibility for their lives.. So maybe I should just quit my job and stop paying taxes and just be taken care of for doing nothing... Come on now!!!!

They should have named Golden Hill "Homeless Hill, " and named San Diego, "Evil Diego."
