You actually can expand the range of the absorption hopper. There are upgrades

dire in xycraft machines there is a block that keeps farmland watered without a watersource you just need the block t be in the middle of the farm just like the watersource, the differens is that this block can be either 2 blocks above the farm or 2 block below it!

You should use demagnetisation coils from simple magnets so u dont have to turn mag on and off

Dire, Cyclic has a pickup block same as the harvester.
Two alts for source is source berries as they don't need farmland and generate more source or a vitalic sourcelink, ritual of fertility, and at least two mobs then once they get over 20 reduce and gain xp and drops.
Once you have a steady production of source crystals you can convert them into fire essence which combined with 8 stone gets you 8 magma blocks this also benefits for Cyclic in that you can liquefy them and pipes into a magma anvil to repair items if you don't have mending.

Wilden dont spawn naturaly anymore. They only spawn in specific structures generated from Ars. So either get lucky with a Ars Stumb or make the ritual.

Pedestals also has a good growth booster if you add a few speed modifiers to the fertiliser upgrade.

Wilden only spawn in wild and den locations now. Look for a hill that has a dead aurs nouveau tree on top of it

Oh dire. Red fertilizer helps crops grow faster. Also, cyclic has an item collector that pairs very nicely with the harvester.

Speed boost in Ars is the Starbuncle familiar. It also allows you to find gold ore when you feed it a gold nugget.

To get that, if you don't want to read the guide, is to find and drop a gold nugget by a starbuncle, convert the shard it drops to a charm with the Enchanting Table and finally to use the Ritual of Binding on the starbuncle you spawn by clicking the charm on the ground.

there is upgrades for the absorption hopper and can make it quite big actually

For feeding water into the sprinkler, your best bet probably would have been using a placer that could place a water source block into the world below the sprinkler to keep your crops hydrated and feed the sprinkler. And you could feed the placer with the sink (and a bucket filler if a water bucket is needed)
