I love nms with all my heart.. it has its problems and isnt for everyone but i love it.

The concept of this game excited me when I first got wind of it...but didn't buy it until a friend began playing it. I bought it 2 years ago & found that scavenging for resources was very tedious & was always struggling to keep from running out of oxygen. For what seemed like a space-sim game, I found the graphics to be to cartoon-ish & felt like a kid's game. Also....with this game having a truly infinite amount of space to explore, I found myself spending most of my time exploring a vast void of nothingness, rather than making progress & engaging in conflict. Also...there's no campaign(at least when I had played it)...which made the game uninspiring.) I always preferred Everspace over No Man's Sky, as the graphics are so thrilling(that just this aspect of the game in of itself)...pushes me to explore. It's got a good story & interesting characters and the survival aspect of it(in terms of gathering resources...it's fun, rather than tedious)...and best of all, Everspace 2 is an open world, so there's no reason to consider going back to NMS(at least not until I finish Everspace 2.) I do like the graphical improvements of NMS as of late...but I am in no hurry to give it another shot.

I like that game overall. I have spent over 1K hours on it over the last year or so. However, I am gutted by the fact that, after 8 years, it is still bug-ridden. Furthermore, I really do not understand Hello Games' attitude. Players report bugs and Hello Games simply ignore the community. If you submit a bug report, you will never hear back from Hello Games and, in all likelihood, they will never fix the bug. The design of the game is great. The software implementation is abysmal.
