The thing that’s bothering me is that Twitch paid his contract. Their community guidelines define a minor as anyone under 18 so age of consent does not matter. The punishment is immediate and indefinite suspension. It also says “Content that constitutes or facilitates inappropriate interactions with youth, including grooming, purposefully exposing youth to sexually explicit language or sexual material, and engaging in sexual conversations in messages with youth.” So if he had sexual conversations with someone under 18 he would have broken community guide lines. Why would twitch lose the case and have to pay out his contract? Am I thinking wrong about this? Is there a way he could break those rules and still get paid out?

I disagree with Doc needing to reveal the whispers to prove his innocence because, as has been litigated, it is the responsibility of the accuser (Twitch and that one former employee, in this case) to prove his guilt. And in this case, law enforcement never saw a problem.

Doc gains nothing from revealing the whispers (which would likely be sealed in the documents from the previous litigation no one is supposed to talk about which is why he can’t reveal them); in fact, it’s likely he will only get attacked over decontextualized messages by the exact same people that were already attacking him.
