Translating Text(strings) with Drupal 7

How to translate a string in Drupal 7 - Requires the internationalization module and string translation enabled.

Summary:
1. View the page with the text you want to translate
2. Change to the language you want to translate to
3. Configuration - regional and language - translate interface - translate
4. Input case sensitive text into string field, filter
5. Find your string, click edit - translate it - save
DONE!

(if you find multiple strings, find the one that has the "built in interface" type or similar for theme templated text)
