In my ear, acoustic sound captured by Rode NT2A is a bit boomy, so I modified the EQ, dropping down the low end at 120, and gain some mid at 1.2K.

You should try the new guild d40 traditonal. The a lot better made then the old d40.mine came out of the new plant in cal.

Both of these sound great! Don't ever sell that Dove! I've played maybe a hundred, loved the first one and hated the rest. Yours is a good one.
