​You can Hear the tone from my 1965 Dove Acoustic Electric to compare to Normal acoustic tone of a Dove as mine has a Dearmond 260 pickup mounted like John Lennons J160E in the neck, something No other Dove I have ever seen has and was added I assume when previous owner having it refinished asked Luthier to professionally install it akaJ160E style, even more videos of it posted yesterday on my channel

I have a 1964 Dove as well, and it plays just as well as this one does. I hated the tune-omatic bridge, so I replaced it with a much newer one. Had all the frets replaced, as well as the bone saddle. The inside neck was braced for better support, which helped it tremendously. The original cases had to be replaced because it was doin more damage then protecting it. Either than that, the mustache bridge, the pick guard, and tuning heads are all original. Check out my YouTube channel, and you will see, and hear how it sounds.
