Polygyny: The Hateful Co-wife

ABOUT US:
We are Coach Nazir, Coach Fatimah, & Coach Nyla. We are considered Black Americans and we were all raised as Christians. We have a keen understanding of the many facets of American culture and the ongoing challenges it presents.

Each of us accepted Islam as young adults and are practicing Muslims who follow the final revelation, The Quran, and the sunnah of the Last & Final Prophet and Messenger, Muhammad ibn Abdullah (sws).

Coach Nazir & Fatimah were married for 15 years and had 6 children when he chose to practice polygyny. He married Coach Nyla 13 years ago and their polygynous journey began.

Since then, 4 more children have been born, another son by Coach Fatimah and 3 sons with Coach Nyla who has added 2 bonus children (step-children) to the family making a total of 12 children.

We had very little support and even slimmer resources when we began our journey, so things were done by trial and error and there were lots of errors!

However, being proactive in our growth and commitment to the success of the family, we figured it out and decided to be a resource for others who may be experiencing similar difficulties.

We reverse-engineered the methods that we found worked best. We chose to remove any excuses from those who say they didn't have a way to learn how to practice it correctly.

This channel is a place where we invite you to travel with us on our personal development journey to develop better and more fulfilling relationships whether you are single, married in monogamy, practicing or looking to practice polygyny.

We share a lot about polygyny and its dynamics because our teachers and spiritual leaders have failed us in this area and polygyny doesn't get its fair share of airtime. We want to be a healthy resource because people are still practicing it without practical education.

As a man, we help provide guidance in areas of leadership, financial IQ, emotional intelligence, mental awareness, and overall levels of competence and confidence.

As a woman, we help women connect to their femininity, learn how to navigate differing dynamics, how to be attractive as a whole, and how to craft a life of fulfillment no matter the challenges.

I agree 100%. It is important to duck tape. Shut your mouth. That does not mean we are silenced...we are SILENT UNTIL we have ahold of our emotions and have something to say that contributes to outstanding personal relationships! I regret some of my words that I confided in my best friends things I should have kept to myself. Simple principle of success?...easy? Nooo noo nooo

Side note: When an initial wife has a knee jerk reaction because " all "she" did was marry your husband" like it is not a big thing.. no big deal...part of Islam ...changing everything..." you have a problem just because she marries your husband..." makes it sounds dismissal to some of the most impactful changes in the initial wife's life! Change is hard for 70% of the humans. This change hits to the very core of life as we know it!

I think it's all about trust/responsibilities between each other! Don't ever tell your co- wives your business between you and y'all husband. Shaytan loves that kind of stuff. His job is to break families up! Guard your own souls for the sake of الله! backbiting is never a good idea anyway! Be close friends as y'all want to, just don't spill any beans about each other. Someone get Brett Cooper on this. This whole view point completely ignores how we are biologically made to be monogamous creatures and want our partner to be ours and ours alone.
