This is so precious. And the little boy is so patient and looking confused why they are all stroking him. So sweet.

Adults, please don't ruin this child's innocence.

So innocent. Yet, with age... that hyper-focus persists... yet the innocence is often replaced with hatred, disgust, jealousy, and malice. Imagine your skin being a spectacle. Imagine processing this information as a toddler and living with the experience for the rest of your life. God bless the babies.

I am 72 years old now. However when I went to Spain with my sister in 1972 at 21 years, adults would come up to us and want to rub our skin. It was my first trip to Europe and I was quite taken aback by this. After I calmed down, I realized that (at least THEN, ) they genuinely didn't have the mindset of the overt racist Americans. The same thing happened when we went to Morocco and two years later to Mexico. They were just fascinated by our dark chocolate skin complexion. The children in Mexico walked around with water wanting us to sprinkle on them and bless them because they felt that we were descendants of Jesus Christ. I was really amazed and astounded by this. These children are not pure Caucasian themselves and, unfortunately, they will grow up and be taught that Blacks should be on the bottom of the totem pole. White people are always baking themselves in the sun to get darker. This is innocent but SAD!!!

Instant fascination. Only when taught does that become animosity.

This little girls face expression is so beautiful!
On another note, her expression explains whats going on in this world with "racism"
She wasn't disgusted by it, she was intrigued...curious, amazed..
But yet we have this stigma that black equals evil or bad .
Children are NOT born racist...they are TAUGHT it
Even during slavery with blackface, there were so many ppl obsessed with dark skin but yet did not respect them as humans..
It's a sick PHILIA
Negrophilia...
I will never understand how some ppl I've met in my life were infactuated with my brown skin but treated me less than human 🤔
