A really easy way to beat a 5+ star ditto raid is to have the leader send a pokemon with only memento/self-destruct, and have the leader use cheers while the raid mon takes itself out

The Everstone is also vital for retaining a regional form, for example when Pokemon HOME is integrated to SV, if you want to breed an Alolan Grimer with a Ditto, without the Everstone attached to the Alolan Grimer it will by default produce Kanto Grimer eggs, but with the Everstone attached to the Alolan Grimer you can get more Alolan Grimer, to change its nature both the Ditto and Alolan Grimer would need to equip an Everstone and it will be a 50/50 as to whether or not that Alolan Grimer will have its nature changed or not.

Egg power also increases hatching speed.
But i hate breeding this gen, its so tedious and expensive. And if you dont do that its just the worst its ever been.
I just stoped trying, with a 5 IV ditto and a 4 IV mon you still only get one with the propper 5 IVs in like 100 or 200 tries.
And you need the cash for vitamins.

I was able to change the pokeball the galarian meowth was in by breeding it with a regular meowth caught in my chosen ball. Make sure gmeowth holds the everstone still. Now to try for the shiny in a lux ball.

Honestly, after six gens of egg hatching, these days I prefer to let my Pokemon be born with whatever nature Arceus gives them and just let nature mints and bottlecaps do the work for me.

Unless I'm running trick room, shiny hunting or need to pass a ball down of course.

why does it take forever for the eggs to appear in the basket.i check every 5 to 10 min and nothing shows up at times.the hatching is fast though

Is there any special way to find ditto raids? Maybe not as extreme as the den exploit in sword/shield, but something that may hint it's a ditto without travelling to every raid?
