Great vid we are dealing with multiple generations now in the U.S. who have not lived in a manufacruring based society..I mean where everything from development to finished product practically happens in one region..I have been asking you for a long time to talk about engineering topics..Please keep it coming..🇺🇸

As long as you don't give us a TEMU link, I'm good

My problem with Chinese products is not Chinese companys selling their products in the US. It’s US companies having their products made in China and sold in the US but charging a made in USA price. I don’t care if it’s just as good as a US product, then have it made in the US.

Your channel gives me hope. Keep doing what YOU do.

I appreciate the diversity of products made in different countries. I trust your opinion that whatever you're reviewing is worth what you say it is, as I've had nothing but good experiences buying products you recommend. Mike Rowe did a good video on made in China vs made in USA. He tried to source his bobble head dolls from a USA manufacturer. He went on to describe China manufacturing in great detail and his experiences. You also have to consider these high end bicycles, those carbon fiber frames are mostly all made in China. There was one USA manufacturer making high end carbon fiber bicycles, but they recently went under. Just saying, you can get quality from countries other than the US.

Try Taiwan. They make a better knife, spyderco, and cold steel are made there. And use Japanese steel. Plus American allies.

This video should be pinned. Professionally executed explanation and what you’re doing here. It’s appreciated and is what everyone should view before viewing anything else you publish.

Some constructive criticism is to use more genuine description of things you’re reviewing. A lot of times it sounds like a sales pitch.

Keep growing Bro, you’re doing good!

I don’t give a shit where stuff is made I want the best deal for the money. Most of those people who are complaining are typing responses in a phone made by children in a 3rd world country slave labor workshop. Made in the USA means it was made in a different country and assembled here.

Please do a video explaining how knives are made to better understand how the process. From sourcing to assembly.

People just generally assume that the tag "Made in China" means the product is made like garbage. This is really a broad statement for their industry because they are willing to take and build anything thrown at them because of their industrial capabilities, and desire for profits.

None of this means that Chinese products are bad, and if you are willing to spend more than 15 dollars on a product that was made in China, you tend to at-least get something worthwhile.
Yeah, supporting American companies is a good thing, but unless you make outrageous amounts of money, or have zero debt to your bank/credit card, purchasing that "Made in the USA 🇺🇸" knife is just an unwise decision in terms of similar product quality and price to a Chinese made knife.
An example of this is a $150-200 USA made Buck knife, vs a $50 Chinese knife; Most times the metal used will be the same 15C28N or D2 steel, and the frame's lockup is done by a button or lock bar. Both of these knives are statistically the same and will last just as long as one another. That said, there is ZERO reason to purchase that American made knife, unless you have extra money to just throw at it.

Yeah a 10 dollar Chinese knife is probably garbage, go up even 10 dollars and that assessment can change fast.

704 can you review some high quality budget Chinese knifes? I personally have a $50 Chinese made Miguron pocket knife that holds an amazing edge, and suggest you to review a few of theirs.
Kizer, CJRB, Petrified Fish (Yep, thats their name), all also make great value pocket knifes and are good to review.

Hello 704 fans! Last weekend my friend and I skinned and took off both hams, shoulders, and back straps off of a wild boar. Both of us were trying out our new Chinese-made knives. I used your 704 Gear Urban Ranger (Full-Sized) EDC folding pocket knife w/ a 3.74" Damascus blade. It performed just as well as any other knife I used as I traded skinning duties w/ my old Buck 110-it definitely held its own! It held up and it performed better than expected. It held its own, earning its place on our next hunting trip. 704 Gear is legit, give it a try for your specific task and I assure you it will hold its own. 👍👍👍👍👍

So what if a knife is $100, you get what you pay for. Don't send your money abroad

around here it's about the cars. Most of our brands are assembled with less than 45% american parts. do your research

Yeah, people keep saying make these things in America, except you just can't do it here.

A very realistic and relatively common sense approach to a very controversial topic....Plain and simple.... people will buy the very best they can too would love to buy made in USA and do when I can but I;m old, on a fixed income and enjoy knife collecting..thus when finances permit I will but a made in China item....sold, packaged and delivered by Americans to you can afford made in the USA I am happy for you, , as has been stated, , stop watching on your made in Asia computer, phone, tablet. and let the rest of us enjoy our hobby!.
