Civil 3D Advanced Roadway Modeling Pt.5

Показать описание
Part 5 of 9 - In this session we'll build the top surface for the northern roadway corridor model. Along the way we will learn how it can be necessary to leverage corridor feature lines as surface break lines. We will also explore ways to make granular changes to assembly geometry at each insertion through the use of parameter overrides.

Many thanks Jeff, I caught a situation at designing that only this video could be my solver

Good morning Bartels. I was wondering how to solve a problem when I create a surface from a corridor which is built with the same assembly but just in some parts along the alignment, leaving gaps between two subsequent corridors. When I ask for a surface extended until the outer boundary, Civil also interpolates a surface between the two adjacent corridor surfaces, creating one unique continuous surface.

So far, I have solved it creating as corridors as needed because the interruptions along the alignment.

To make it clearer, it is the case when I have interspersed gutters and curbs on the same alignment.

Thank you Bartels

First class presentation All C3D tutorials should follow your format
this format do it once then move to a new region and one work thru it again more time to see the work flow
i suggest a new channel for you for others to follow your presentations

After following your work you have made the only way to drain the site so this results in the step curb median
so Florida is flat gotta do what you gotta due to get ride of the hurricane water
