Driveclub PlayStation 4 review. At last here is our look at Driveclub on PlayStation 4. Sadly, this is a badly designed game that probably looked great on paper but failed miserably at delivering a fun driving experience.

The game is too hard with even a small mistake costing you the race. The game engine actually makes things more difficult due to the way light sources are handled. Overall this is the worst driving game of the year. ****

no offence But this review is a right-off for me. I had driveclub since launch week and I couldn't disagree more. the game, to me, has a perfect balance of challenge and ease, didn't take me long at all to get all the stars in the main campaign. And driveclub is the first racing game I've played since NFS hot pursuit on ps3. 
dare I say it, you're just bad at the game, it isn't that difficult of a game.

I see that many people are criticising you, but I love this channel and the way you're reviewing stuff. It's a more intelligent side of making videos, instead of all those Let's Plays out there.

Oh, and about Driveclub... What a trainwreck of a game.

I am slowly beginning to think that this is one of the best racers ever. The funny thing is I agree with a lot of your points aswell.

So far ive had fun playing the game i agree it can be challenging but still its possible to win once every other race i just enjoy driving fast and it looks phenomenal Androidizen

Think the dislikes say it all... seems like you're just terrible at the game. It is challenging but if you stick with it you will nail it and then it's all the more rewarding. A game where you're guaranteed to win every race would be so boring. There is only 1 event on the offline mode which is 'too difficult' and that's the venom hot lap which I've spent at least 3 hours on and still can't get that elusive third star. But again you'd expect it to be difficult to get 100% completion of the tour so it's a challenge and I don't get bored replaying that star as it's genuinely fun and I know when I beat it it'll be a frigging awesome feeling. 

Respect your opinion and it's true the launch was a joke as was the amount of time it took for a weather update, but again the weather update was actually brilliant, you give no credit for the stunning graphics of the dynamic rain on the game and how realistic an impact it has on how you have to drive - you can't drive the same in the wet as in the dry in real life in a supercar and this is no different. Inconsistent and overly harsh review I'm afraid.

If you're the only person finding the game too hard then I'd suggest the problem is with you and not the game. Driveclub's had its share of criticism but difficulty level is not a common complaint. To then suggest that the majority of people wouldn't enjoy it is quite bizarre. The majority of reviewers liked it (7/10 on average) and it's being re-reviewed upwards in a lot of places since the launch issues were fixed. It's also selling well so I think the majority of people are enjoying it just fine. Terrible review, terrible reviewer.

Serious questions, did you actually play the game? Poor AI? Criticising the realism ie lighting lens flare etc?? Unwinnable races?? Really doesnt match the experienes of yhe majority of reviews applauding this game as the new benchmark in racers. Oh well, each to their own I guesd

This guy should not be reviewing this game ! I think he is a very intelligent guy probably but that doesn't mean you know anything about racing games even if you have played a lot of them !

Sorry I don't agree with you. Its possible to beat the AI. Its just that your not very good. Look at the first minute of the video. I would imagine a 5 year old must have been driving.

Me too - wrong review, disagree with everything he said.  I too own the game at xmas - one of the best driving games ever.  
Its like motorstorm but with racetracks.

MEH I prefer and open world racing game with tuning my car and driving against cloud based opponents
