The proverbial heroic defeat that us Brits love so much. I think Richards is in with a chance mainly due to Bivol inactivity and the fact he hasn’t shown gears in recent fights.

Hopefully, Bivol ends up fighting Beterbiev at the end of the year. Beterbiev didn't look like his top shape last fight around. Maybe it was because of the time spent outside of the ring but he's 36, so he's slowly losing his prime years. It would be a shame to see the fight happen 2 years later when Beterbiev is not in tip-top shape.

Could be buddy, could very well be, but I wouldn't be surprised if Bivol overwhelms Richards & stops him in the last quarter. As you say Richards is getting better, but if he takes 2 rounds, I'll be impressed. Good on him though, for daring to be great. Bless up bro 👊

To be fair, Richards will have more reason to be motivated to do well in this one than Bivol will, plus we will have to see how the Russian looks with about 18 months out of the ring. That being said there are levels and no doubt Bivol will win this one clearly, I think a UD 117-111 or 118-110 kind of affair, but who knows maybe Bivol will get his first stoppage in 3 years. Also, I think Bivol got upgraded to 'Super' champ and Pascal is the 'Regular' title holder, if I'm not mistaken.
