How do you rescue anyone when you have nothing to rescue them with?

When comms are lost within 90 minutes of diving (not even a simple distress signal), it means catastrophic failure. Probably hull-pressure failure.

You could not pay me to be in that Sub.

Imagine paying $250, 000 to die. So sad.

I can’t imagine paying $250, 000 for that and being in something so small. I would have been panicking so bad. I hope they are found

I've never been down in one but I've worked on a few ROV's in waters up to 6000' deep.
The preparation we went through to do a dive was long and we didn't have people on board, just equipment.
It's mind boggling to think of people going down in an ROV type vehicle to a depth of 12, 000'.
I've seen what the depth can do to metal things, humans would not even know what hit them.
An implosion at that depth would be like standing in the middle of a nuclear explosion.
You would not feel a thing because you're dead before the nerve impulses can reach your brain.

Are people stupid? They are lone gone. All that pressure and loss of oxygen . Rip to all those lives lost.

Absolutely terrifying. I can't even imagine. No way I would pay $250, 000 to go do that. That's a nightmare playing out in real life. I hope they are found soon and I hope they're okay. Sending prayers

The passengers and the submersible may never be seen nor heard from again.

Sending prayers for everyone on board that sub. I’m claustrophobic so this is my worst nightmare playing out in real life. I know people have different interests, but I can’t fathom wanting to go that voyage much less paying $250k to do it?

At this point it's no longer a ''rescue'' it has become ''recovery.''

This would be terrifying. I have heard descriptions of going to the wreckage and even for people who really wanted to go, it is terrifying. I can’t imagine being trapped down there for days.

Even if they find this thing. There’s no way they can get these people to safety even 1000 feet below sea level. It’s pretty much a wrap. They’re searching still because there’s rich people on board

They're all dead. Don't give hope when you know there isn't.

Apparently they’re not just going down there to view the wreckage, but to collect information and whatever they’re able to discover as well…

I dunno but the whole boat seemed home made by a rookie. No seats, no toilets, no windows. No safety equipment of any kind whatsoever… 7 ways to resurface and bolted shut from the outside until someone opens them up clearly not well thought out …

How do you even rip one if you really need to? And controlled by an off brand ps controller… a part he got from Outdoor Camping? The whole thing was doomed to fail!

More money than sense, must be mad going down there, the anxiety it would give me just knowing that amount of water surrounding me? no, no, no, no thanks.👋

If we put this much attention to the state of our country as we are this titanic sub dilemma we’d be doing pretty good.
