There's so much sadness in the comments. I wish I could say something that made it any different. I see so many: "I want to go back to 2010, I want to go back to 2015, I want to go back to 2009, I want to go back to 2004"....I want to go back... We all do and we can't and won't ever be able to. What's done is done and not a single thing we do will ever change it You cannot change the things that have happened and we will only get to experience them ONCE.

This may seem somber, but what I really mean to say is to HOLD. ON.

I won't and can't promise that it gets easier, I couldn't possibly tell you that things will get better, I would be lying if I said you will be okay eventually: there is the complete possibility that none of us will and we will always feel this way. What gets me through every day...every single hard fought, painful, sad, depressing, hateful, or simply difficult day is the fear of not not knowing what lies beyond and not wanting to find out. We can come to terms with it as much as we want and we can't fight against things as much as we want...but you become TIRED. When things do not feel fair: fuck it. Keep. Going. Do not let this life tell you that you cannot live. Don't let it tell you that you can't be AT LEAST just "okay". Don't let YOU tell you that you can't be happy. ultimately it's all perspective. Some people are happy and some are not. You can become OKAY with that though and not live every single day in crippling anxiety/ sadness/ fear...but rather coexist with it. If you've gone through 10+ years of battling these feelings, simply embrace it. We see things in a way that makes SO MUCH of life BEAUTIFUL to us because of how truly jaded we have become. Little things will make you smile/ cry/ sad/ all seems like a curse, but in so many ways this is a boon. This is something we all feel at some point and something some of us NEVER move past. Crippling anxiety, depression, anger, mood swings, hesitation, longing, grief, regret...

We are all here together in this, and no matter how fucking sad or upset you get. YOU. ARE. HERE.
you're reading this, you're breathing along side me, you're able to see the message I send your way telling you that you're not alone. I can't tell you things will ever be "okay". But eventually things will get better, and then they will get worse and then better and then worse and then better and then worse and then better...and I will be here with you through all of it feeling exactly how you are, feeling how you feel. wishing things were different but they aren't: wanting things to bring me peace but only making me more anxious.
