I haven't started watching the show yet, so this is the first time I've seen the opening. I find it interesting that they chose this as an opening, I was expecting it to be more ominous, spooky, and criptic like The Devilman crybaby opening. The song is catchy atleast.

I just watched this anime and honestly I enjoyed it. Yes, the soichi adaptations became comedy and it wasn't as detailed as the source material but it was a good anime and even my horror loving friend who doesn't watch anime like it and really loved the glyceride episode. I'd rate 8/10 a must watch more than the first 2 episodes

Junji Ito's work is like Lovecraft's where many are inspired by it but we never had anything directly based of their work. Which is why I'm so glad they made this show.

This anime is pretty underrated. Sure, the animation doesn’t look as good as the manga, but putting as much detail in the frames as Ito does in his panels is a diagnosis of carpal tunnel just waiting to happen. I’m just amused by the simple novelty of having his works adapted to the small screen and introducing people to new reading material.

But hey- at least it’s not as bad as the 2001 live-action Uzumaki movie! 😂
