You teach better than my teacher... You have a burst of energy throughout and i think that helps us, the viewers, catch on better. Yes, you also clean the board perfectly and have good handwriting lol. You are also a pretty funny person! Anyways keep it up! It still boggles me that you and some of these other tutors/teachers on YouTube are doing this without asking for anything in return. I can't thank you enough and also can't even count how many tests/quizzes you have saved me from :)

This professor is truly gifted at teaching! I sat 8 hours in a classroom, and watched hours of other polynomial inequality videos, and didn't learn as much as I did watching the first 8 minutes of this video! He is very clear, and specific in his teaching method. I wish I would have been able to have taken him for pre-calc.

Thank you for the helpful video.

Thanks for watching till the end!
This was one of my early videos wen I had a 15min. time limit...it was hard to squeeze it all in sometimes:D

Omg, this is SO much simpler than the sign chart method. Thank you so much! I'm totally cramming for a test in a few hours but with this method bring it on!

You're welcome! Most math teachers have a very time consuming, sometimes frustrating job...don't be too hard on your professor...at least you found the extra help you needed:)

You can test any value you like within each interval. In your question, set it equal to zero...factor x^2 out and set each factor equal to zero to determine your test intervals.

You could watch Graphing Non-Linear Inequalities. You basically graph the polynomial and then test one point in each region of your graph to see if you get a true statement from your inequality. You shade in the area that gives a true statement.

Very good suggestion for anyone who also just learned about graphing higher order polynomials. You will also want to consider the multiplicity of the roots to know if the graph just touches that x-intercept or goes through it:)
