@FunkForTheFunky If the graph is above the x-axis the function is positive, if the graph is below the x-axis it is negative. choose the negatives if you are given less than, choose the positives if you are given greater than. Thanks for choosing MBF I will try to post a video on that topic but it is going to take a while

Thanks for this - very helpful. I do have a question though, but its not related to this (particular) video: I've been looking for a video of how to solve a polynomial inequality when all you have to go on is the graph. Example: I've got boundary points negative 1 and positive 2, and f(x) is less than or equal to zero. It's already graphed. Will working backwards from x = -1 and x = 2 give me the solution?

I was about to drop out of college when I got to this point in Pre Cal. But somehow my tension was eased (Humm I wonder if it's because I stopped to smell the flowers) so that I could continue on. Now I just have trig and Cal 1 to look forward to.
