I fell in love with a 701 Vitpilen. I sat on the 701 Svartpilen but it just didn't do it for me. I agree that they both are sort of strange space ships, unique neo-retro style. I think it's what a sci-fi writer/artist would imagine we would be riding today. It just needs some wings and some rockets and it would blast off. 🚀

I found the qickshifter became perfect on mine after about 1000 miles running in. It missed a few times when it was still very new. Agreed that the motor is a gem so long as you keep it over 3k rpm. Don't need more power for the road

Svartpilen is a Swedish word. Obviously, you already know what it means. But it sucks that this is discontinued, can't find them down here in Aus anymore. Does everyone really think they will come out with another stronger model considering how poorly this thing sold? 

I don't know the numbers for every region, but the thing was priced way too high down here and 7 grand was taken off of the sticker price within a year. Nuda 900s pop-up once a blue moon for around the price of a brand new Vitpilen. Good content my man.

I saw a rider at a track day on one. He had stock tires and was faster than a lot of sport bikes. He was a good rider but those tires

Husqvarna Nuda 900R is the ultimate hooligan bike, sadly way too short in production for there to be enough good ones still around

Just got mine over memorial day weekend and the slave clutch cylinder shit out at 50 miles. Taking it to dealership to replace it with an oberon. I cant beleive it happened this quick

Excellent review! Do you still have this bike? I happened to see this video because I am looking to see what people think of this bike now. I agree with you 100%! I have a 701 2020 with the spoke wheels and love it! One of the best bikes I have ever had. Oddly this single cylinder has a lot of power and this is not a beginners bike. Fast and it a bit wild. This bike is one of the best looking and most unique bikes on the market even in 2024. This bike stock is good to go. The only thing I changed was the mirrors, I put bar end mirrors on my bike. The stock exhausts sounds and looks good to me. Photos and videos do not do the looks and sound of the bike any justice. I like to know if you still have the bike and if not why and have you had any issues. Thanks

How did you get the tank black? I’m assuming it came like that when you got it but if you have any tips for how I can get mine to look like that I’d appreciate it

Only thing I don't like about this bike is the tail, it looks ugly. The 401 looks better
